Most of the films we post here are wedding related, but since the holidays are here we thought we would share one of our favorite recipes with you guys. This is my wifes world famous Caramel Corn. We had a lot of fun making this little video, and who knows - maybe it will lead into a little series!

Here is the recipe if you would like to make this at home:

Start with 1½ cups of unpopped kernels. Pop ‘em. Add some nuts. Stir it.

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

In a pot a bit bigger than necessary, melt 2 cups of brown sugar, ½ cup corn syrup, 1 tsp of salt, and a cup of butter.

Let these come to a boil and stir for 5 minutes. Don’t stop stirring. EVER.

After 5 minutes, remove from heat and add in 1 tsp vanilla and ½ tsp baking soda. The baking soda is going to make the mixture foam up a bit, hence the bigger pot.

Arrange popcorn on cookie sheets or in cake tins. Line with parchment paper or nonstick stuff.

Drizzle mixture ontop of popcorn.

Put into oven for an hour.

Every 15 minutes or so, check the popcorn and give it a good stir. This way, everything will be mixed and even.

Then, you eat it. Eat it all. It’s really healthy.
